About us
When the pandemic began in 2020, Homegrown Dance was established to unite and train Adelaide-based professional dancers who were forced to pack their bags and return home from their world-wide industry contracts. These classes let dancers keep one another trained at a time when there was little work or training available.
Since then, Homegrown Dance remains a supportive training environment for all who wish to stay conditioned, keep up-skilling, and be prepared for entering or re-entering the entertainment industry.
Madeline MacArthur
Founder, director and teacher
Madeline is a Melbourne-trained artist who founded Homegrown Dance in 2020 and continues to direct it, giving Adelaide-based dancers a platform to grow, collaborate and thrive. She teaches jazz and lyrical, and her classes are designed to push your skills and ignite your passion.
